"Actually, for the past few months, because of the nature of my work, I rarely visit the restaurant. Yesterday, I suddenly saw people sharing pictures of the restaurant announcing that it was closing, I was a bit shocked and disappointed. The girls here are very nice to customers, the food here is also delicious, especially the ham that doesn't smell fishy. Now the restaurant is closed, what a pity, losing a good place to eat," the customer expressed.

Coming here on the last days, he was not too surprised to see many customers like him, coming to enjoy the noodle soup as a farewell. He said he will not forget the memories with friends at this restaurant.

"When this farewell sign is hung up, there must be many people like me: Regretting a street food legend, associated with hot noons with only 1 hour to fight over a bowl of delicious pork tendon noodle soup. Not only is it a place to eat, this is also a place full of memories for food connoisseurs. A very Saigon place... Goodbye uncle and aunt! I will miss this place very much. I hope you are always healthy", Mr. Ha Thanh Phuc, a regular customer at the restaurant also shared with emotion.

Why did the noodle shop stop business?

This is the noodle shop owned by the sisters of Mrs. Phi (66 years old, living in District 1). The noodle shop rarely answers or shares with the press and media. Talking about the reason for stopping the business, the owner calmly said that her sisters are old and no longer have enough strength to maintain the shop's operations.

In an interview with Thanh Nien 4 years ago, she said the noodle shop has been around for more than 2 decades. Although there is no sign, customers still call this shop "the silver-haired lady" shop because most of the women in Ms. Phi's family are old and have white hair. In addition, those with porcelain-white skin and an open personality are very popular with customers.

Before, this was a street stall that her five sisters pushed to sell. Previously, Phi's older sister was the main seller, while her sisters helped out. "Later, someone loved my sisters and me so much that they lent us this house to use as a restaurant, so we moved here to sell. Later, my sister was over 70 and her health was poor, so I took her place as the main seller here," she confided.

According to the owner, the reason the restaurant only opens for 1 hour a day is because Mrs. Phi and her sisters are old and no longer have the strength to do much. When asked about the secret to cooking delicious food that makes customers "crazy", Mrs. Phi smiled and said:

"There is no secret, the products I cook are all fresh, bought and sold out every day. Because I prepare them as carefully as possible, meticulously at every step, and season them just right, they are delicious. I also pay a lot of attention to hygiene, from the food to the restaurant space, my sisters and I keep everything very clean."
