On September 17, FPT University Can Tho held the opening ceremony of the 19th course and inaugurated the Alpha headquarters building.
Mr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University, said that FPT University Can Tho has about 8,000 students with a 98% employment rate after graduation. Since the branch was newly established in 2018, the school has always strived to ensure modern facilities to serve the training work well. Therefore, the Alpha headquarters building put into operation has many meanings for the school to increasingly perfect the experiential learning environment, closely combining theory and practice.
Alpha Headquarters Building has 136 classrooms and functional rooms.
Accordingly, the Alpha headquarters building has a total floor area of nearly 25,000 m2 . The structure includes 1 semi-basement floor, 9 floors above ground and a covered stairwell. The building has a facade architecture, designed in harmony with the overall structure of other buildings and is inspired by the Penrose motif. The scale includes 136 classrooms and functional rooms, meeting the learning and living needs of more than 5,000 staff, teachers and students. The building is expected to contribute to helping the school fulfill its mission of providing digital human resources that are sensitive to the 4.0 revolution, good at science and technology , thereby providing high-quality labor for the Mekong Delta.
On this occasion, FPT University Can Tho awarded Nguyen Van Dao scholarships to 30 students (valid for 4 years of study). Of these, 19 students received 50% scholarships, 7 students received 70% scholarships and 4 students received 100% scholarships.
