BHG - On the afternoon of May 26, the Red Cross Society (RC) of the Northern Border Mountainous Provinces Emulation Cluster in coordination with the Red Cross Society of Ha Giang Province organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build a house for the family of Mr. Trieu Van Lieu, Lung Chang village, Linh Ho commune, Vi Xuyen district. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Central Committee of the Red Cross Society; Red Cross Societies of Cao Bang , Lang Son, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Lao Cai, and Ha Giang provinces.

Mr. Trieu Van Lieu, Dao ethnic group, Lung Chang village, has a difficult situation, for many years he has had to live in a cramped, seriously degraded house but has no conditions to repair it. Sharing the difficulties with the family, the Red Cross Association of the Northern mountainous border provinces supported the family with 50 million VND, the Vi Xuyen district Humanitarian Fund supported 10 million VND, the family contributed 30 million VND to build a level 4 house with an area of 60 m2. In addition, Linh Ho commune mobilized people to support labor days, when completed, it will help Mr. Lieu's family have a stable place to live and improve their lives.
