On the morning of October 24, Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television in coordination with the Youth Union of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Dak Lak Branch Youth Union ( Vietcombank Dak Lak Youth Union), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Kar and Quang Phu communes organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build 2 gratitude houses for poor households with difficult housing circumstances.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television Le Minh Thuoc; Secretary of Vietcombank Dak Lak Youth Union Le Xuan Dung; and representatives of local leaders.

In Ea Kar commune, the delegation presented a house construction funding support board to the family of Mrs. Ho Thi Anh Tuyet, in village 12. Mrs. Tuyet's family is a poor household in the commune, with 9 members. Mrs. Tuyet and her husband do not have stable jobs and have an unstable income.

The support for building a charity house this time is a source of encouragement, helping the family stabilize their lives and live with peace of mind. The house is expected to be built on an area of ​​about 70 square meters, with a total cost of nearly 200 million VND. Of which, Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television mobilized the Dak Lak Vietcombank Youth Union to support 70 million VND, the rest of the amount was contributed by Ms. Tuyet's family and relatives to participate in the construction work and contribute more.

In Quang Phu commune, the delegation also presented a symbolic plaque to support the construction of a house of gratitude to Mr. Chau Thanh Trung in residential group 3, Quang Phu commune. Mr. Trung is also a poor household in the commune, having to take care of his sick mother, and life is difficult. Currently, the mother and son are staying at a relative's house.

Through the connection of Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television, Trung's house was started to be built with an area of ​​nearly 100 m2, estimated construction cost of more than 200 million VND. Of which, Vietcombank Dak Lak Youth Union supported 70 million VND, Trung and his family will participate in working days and mobilize relatives to contribute more.

The gratitude houses are expected to be completed and handed over to families in December 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television Le Minh Thuoc said: In addition to professional duties, in recent times, Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television have regularly coordinated with units, including the companionship of Vietcombank Dak Lak Youth Union, to organize many social security activities in the province to support families in difficult circumstances, especially helping poor households have solid and spacious houses to stabilize their lives and escape poverty. This is a social security activity with profound humanistic meaning, demonstrating the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", "the gourd loves the squash".

Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television hopes that local Party committees, authorities and socio -political organizations will continue to pay attention and support so that the houses can be completed soon, creating motivation for families to improve their lives.
