Unleashing potential, connecting sustainable development for Hai Phong tourism industry

The Hai Phong 2025 Tourism Destination Promotion Conference aims to promote, advertise and attract investment in tourism development in the port city of Hai Phong in 2025 and the following years.

On November 22, the Hai Phong Tourism Destination Promotion Conference 2025 is scheduled to take place at Dragon Hill International Tourist Area (Do Son). The conference is directed by the Hai Phong City People's Committee, chaired by the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hai Phong Tourism Association with the participation of 750 delegates, guests, and 100 international travel agencies and 150 Vietnamese travel agencies.

The event took place in the context of Vietnam's tourism industry recovering and making a strong breakthrough, responding to the Prime Minister's telegram No. 34/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 on promoting tourism development.

Hai Phong City identifies tourism as one of the pillars of economic development, in line with the orientation in the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress (2025 - 2030) to turn Hai Phong into "an industrial, modern, civilized, ecological and livable seaport city of Southeast Asia's stature".

During the event, there were also many booths of tourism businesses, domestic and international travel agencies, airlines, cooperatives, craft villages, tourism promotion units, and trade services of Hai Phong city and neighboring localities.

Through this event, the city's tourism industry affirms its determination to build and promote the image of a dynamic, friendly and unique Hai Phong, aiming to become a top attractive destination on the tourism map of Vietnam and the region.

The conference is not only an opportunity for connection but also the beginning of a long-term development cooperation journey, making tourism a key economic sector, contributing positively to the city's sustainable growth.
