Launching VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 – Senior Track: Opportunity to join VPBank technology team

Following VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Junior Track, VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Senior Track designed for candidates who have graduated from university with good grades or higher, with 2 years of experience will officially launch on September 5 with many interesting challenges.

A playground for experienced candidates

Following the success of VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Junior Track with more than 1,200 participants and excellent technology solutions, 90 outstanding finalists were recruited directly into the Young Talents 2025 program - one of the career launching pads at VPBank. Following that mark, VPBank continues to bring a promising technology playground with many new challenges, VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Senior Track, officially launched on September 5, 2025.

VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Senior Track is a playground exclusively for candidates with two or more years of experience in the field of Information Technology or Data Science .

Players will choose a technology challenge given by the Organizing Committee (Challenge Statement) and build an idea (Ideate), develop a solution (Develop Prototype) on the AWS technology platform. The challenges are diverse, with a different level of difficulty compared to VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Junior Track in terms of complexity and applicability. Contestants are expected to understand banking business processes, design architecture and simulate solutions comprehensively. The challenges are designed in a rich way, from optimizing operational processes and customer experience journeys to building and optimizing modern system architecture, handling specific data problems of the banking industry, developing digital solutions...

Each challenge is highly practical, closely linked to VPBank's digital transformation needs, thereby requiring candidates to not only have a sharp technological mindset but also understand the context of finance and banking operations. Another special highlight is that artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) are included in most challenges, becoming a key tool to improve accuracy and practical application. For example, in security challenges, candidates must develop a system capable of handling a large number of complex security events, automatically analyzing and responding promptly thanks to AI technology, minimizing dependence on human manual operations. These requirements make Senior Track a "real-life technology playground", in which feasible, highly applicable and scalable solutions will be the most important measure.

VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Senior Track competition stages:

· October 18 : Candidates attend an in-depth workshop organized by Amazon Web Services (AWS) , updating practical knowledge and skills in using AWS technologies - an important foundation for building solutions.

· October 19 – 23 : Contestants/teams develop and perfect solution ideas according to the chosen challenge.

· October 29 – November 6 : Selected teams enter the solution development round (Prototype) with technology support from AWS.

· November 15 : Final Round - presentation and defense of solutions before the Jury.

Candidates of VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 – Senior Track also have the opportunity to participate in strategic technology projects with strong investment from VPBank in roles such as AI/Gen AI Engineer, DevOps, Project Manager, Cloud Expert... in the Information Technology Division and the Data Management and Analysis Division of the bank.
