Foreign investors continue to net sell, VN-Index slightly decreases

NDO - In the trading session on April 29, investors' caution and the differentiation of industry groups caused the main indices to mainly fluctuate within a narrow range around the reference. Meanwhile, the bluechip group traded inactively, with most of them only fluctuating slightly, preventing the VN-Index from breaking out. At the end of the session, the VN-Index decreased by 0.50 points to 1,226.30 points.

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: TCB, CTG, VRE with an increase of more than 1.26 points. On the contrary, codes: SAB, VCB, VJC were sold heavily and took away more than 1.67 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the order matching value of this session was equivalent to the previous session, reaching more than 12,139.45 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately VND254 billion on the HoSE in this session. In terms of buying, VRE shares were bought the most with a value of VND157 billion, followed by MWG (VND132 billion), VCI (VND54 billion), CTG (VND53 billion)... On the contrary, VIC was sold the most (VND242 billion), followed by SAB (VND100 billion), VPB (VND90 billion), FPT (VND62 billion)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 8 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.

Of which, VRE increased 2.38% to VND23,650/share, TCB increased 1.15%.

Codes: ACB, CTG, GVR, PLX, TPB, VNM increased slightly.

Five codes stopped at reference, including: BID, MSN, VIB, VIC, VPB.

On the other hand, SAB decreased by 6.05% to VND48,100/share, VJC decreased by 3.48% to VND86,000/share, BCM decreased by 1.42%, SSB decreased by 1.08%.

The remaining codes: BVH, FPT, GAS, HDB, HPG, LPB, MBB, MWG, SHB, SSI, STB, VCB, VHM decreased slightly.

Steel stocks traded differently. Specifically, HMC increased by 2.56%, HSG increased by 1.1%, TLH increased slightly. On the other hand, SMC hit the floor at VND8,580/share, HPG, NKG, VCA decreased slightly.

The securities group traded less actively, closing down 0.31%. Of which, ORS decreased by 2.06%, TVS decreased by 1.48%, VND decreased by 1.35%, BSI decreased by 1.11%, FTS and VDS both decreased by 1.06%, DSE, HCM, SSI, VIX decreased slightly. On the contrary, TVB increased by 1.59%, APG increased by 1.22%, AGR, CTS, TCI, VCI increased slightly.

Similarly, the banking group closed down 0.03%. In addition to the codes ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB decreased 2.07%, OCB stopped at reference, MSB, NAB decreased slightly.

Meanwhile, real estate stocks closed in the green, up 0.24%. Codes that increased quite well were: TDH hit the ceiling price of VND4,330/share, DRH increased by 3.47%, DXG increased by 3.77%, DXS increased by 3.21%, FIR increased by 6.24%, HQC increased by 3.03%, LDG increased by 3.23%, TDC increased by 6.31%.

Other industry groups such as insurance, capital goods, utilities, distribution and retail of durable goods, consumer goods and decoration increased slightly.

On the contrary, the stock groups: transportation, raw materials, telecommunications, energy, food-beverage and tobacco, software, and health care decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index fluctuated today, VNXALL-Index closed down 0.45 points (-0.02%), to 2,028.75 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 637.04 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 15,600.28 billion. In the whole market, there were 181 stocks increasing in price, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 186 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 211.94 points, up 0.49% (+0.23%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 43.70 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND708,071 billion. The entire floor had 77 stocks increasing, 57 stocks remaining unchanged and 80 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.99 points (-0.24%) to 412.28 points. Trading volume reached about 21.56 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND484,251 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 13 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 92.26 points, up 0.01 points (+0.01%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 30.92 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 372,352 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 164 stocks increasing, 97 stocks remaining unchanged and 109 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 0.50 points (-0.04%) to 1,226.30 points. Liquidity reached over 674.92 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND15,518.30 billion. The entire floor had 226 stocks increasing, 72 stocks remaining unchanged and 274 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 2.59 points (-0.20%) to 1,309.73 points. Liquidity reached more than 297.68 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND9,155.69 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 8 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 53.42 million units), VRE (over 19.40 million units), TCB (over 18.13 million units), VIX (over 17.98 million units), NVL (over 14.85 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are DCL (6.98%), TMT (6.96%), VSC (6.92%), TDH (6.91%), DC4 (6.78%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease were PMG (-6.99%), SMC (-6.94%), TNC (-6.20%), SAB (-6.05%), ADG (-5.94%).
