In the first months of 2025, Gia Lai Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch closely followed the direction of the Central Government and the province, proactively implementing key tasks according to the plan. From the reality of policy credit activities in rural and urban areas, it has been shown that the capital demand of the people is increasing, the loan amount is increasing, requiring banks to focus on - taking advantage of large capital sources for lending.
Gia Lai Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies has focused on mobilizing resources, taking advantage of capital allocated by the Central Government and entrusted local budget capital to expand lending, meeting capital needs for poor households and policy beneficiaries.

As of April 30, the Branch has focused on disbursing capital sources, lending turnover reached nearly 1,264 billion VND with 22,306 customers receiving loans. Along with lending activities, debt collection turnover reached nearly 965 billion VND, supplementing capital for the bank to lend in rotation. Preliminary assessment of the policy credit activities, Mr. Le Van Chi - Director of Gia Lai Province Social Policy Bank Branch commented: "Following closely the socio -economic situation in the province, the Branch has given close and specific instructions, in accordance with the practical requirements of policy credit activities at the grassroots level. Thanks to that, credit capital for poor households and policy beneficiaries is guaranteed to be timely, promoting positive effects in implementing the set goals and tasks".
Disbursed capital focuses on key credit programs such as: Loans for clean water and environmental sanitation, job creation, production and business in disadvantaged areas, near-poor households, and poor households; not allowing people's production activities to be interrupted due to lack of capital.
As a borrower of policy credit to create jobs and increase income for his family, Mr. Kpa Vong (Yon Tok village, Ia Glai commune, Chu Se district) said: “Previously, my family was a near-poor household, thanks to the support from the Social Policy Bank, our life gradually stabilized. Now, I borrow capital to create jobs to take care of a 600-tree coffee garden and plant 1 sao of passion fruit. In addition, I borrow more capital for clean water and environmental sanitation.”
In urban areas, low-interest policy credit capital has played a role in financial support, meeting the small capital needs of the people. Mr. Tran Huu Anh (86 Nguyen Van Cu, Pleiku City) - a borrower happily said: "My family is running a small grocery store. I borrowed additional capital from the job creation loan to supplement working capital, import more goods to meet the consumption needs of customers. I find the loan conditions, simple procedures, good interest rates, and loan terms suitable for the characteristics of this business sector".

In the context that the whole Gia Lai province is urgently implementing the restructuring of the apparatus according to the new model, social policy credit activities at the grassroots level are still striving to maintain a continuous operating rhythm, not allowing people to be affected.
For example, in Chu Se district, the total policy credit capital as of April 30 reached 499.7 billion VND. Of which, the district budget capital alone was 15.9 billion VND. With abundant capital, the Chu Se District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office has focused on disbursing to meet the capital needs of the people. Loan turnover reached 70 billion VND, with 1,384 households borrowing. The total outstanding debt by the end of April 2025 was 499.5 billion VND, with 11,057 households borrowing outstanding debt. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ly - Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Chu Se District added: "From the beginning of the year, Chu Se District has paid attention to transferring the local budget entrusted to the Social Policy Bank by 3 billion VND, completing 100% of the plan. The disbursed policy credit capital has met the capital needs of people in investment in production, business, job creation, and temporary labor export abroad; contributing to the implementation of the goal of poverty reduction, new rural construction, and socio-economic development of ethnic minority areas".

Since the beginning of the year, Gia Lai Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies has focused on implementing key tasks such as: Advising local Party committees and authorities to effectively implement the contents of Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period; Plan No. 309-KH/TU dated January 17, 2025 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Secretariat; closely following the direction of the Central Government and the province; closely coordinating with departments, branches, localities, and socio- political organizations entrusted with organizing the implementation of strategic development goals of the Bank for Social Policies until 2030.
From the results of policy credit activities in the past 4 months, Mr. Le Van Chi - Director of Gia Lai Province Social Policy Bank Branch informed: "A bright spot in social policy credit activities is the main indicators of capital mobilization, credit balance growth, and good credit quality. The total outstanding debt of the whole province reached 7,762 billion VND with 188,440 customers, an increase of 300 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, a growth rate of 4.01%, overdue debt only accounted for 0.08% of total outstanding debt".
