From morning to afternoon of October 30, Hanoi and many places in the North will have drizzle and light rain due to the influence of cold air. Hanoi's temperature will drop slightly, the weather will be chilly to slightly cold.

On the afternoon of October 30, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting continued to update information on the strengthening cold air. According to this center, the strengthening cold air wave has affected some places in the Northeast region of the North.

In the evening and night of October 30, cold air will affect other places in the Northeast region. After that, the cold air will continuously strengthen, expanding the area of influence to the North Central region, the Northwest region and the Central Central region.

On land, not only does the Northeast wind gradually strengthen to level 2-3 (coastal areas are strong at level 3), but cold air also combines with disturbances in the East wind zone to create a weather combination that causes rain in the Northeast region.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in 24 to 48 hours from the afternoon of October 30, the North and North Central regions will be cold, and some mountainous areas in the North will be cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass will be around 18-21 degrees Celsius, and some mountainous areas in the North will be below 17 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi has rain and cold weather. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 19-21 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of cold air strengthening combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone, the area from Nghe An to Hue City has had and will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms.
