At about 9:10 p.m. on October 30, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, the area along the Ca Ty River (Tien Thanh Ward, Lam Dong Province) was deeply flooded, with water levels rising more than one meter in some places, threatening the safety of people's lives and property.

Faced with the emergency, Brigade 681, Naval Region 2 received orders to mobilize, organize 50 officers and soldiers and 4 vehicles to the area, coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and forces to carry out rescue work, evacuate people from the danger zone.

That very night, officers and soldiers of Brigade 681 waded through the rain and deep water to each household to help move the elderly, women and children to safety; and at the same time helped people transport their belongings, livestock and essential assets to higher ground. The unit's medical team was also on duty on site, ready to provide first aid and medical support to people when necessary.

With the spirit of "Fastest - most effective - serving the people", officers and soldiers of Brigade 681 have shown a proactive spirit, discipline and high responsibility, promptly helping people overcome dangerous situations, contributing to minimizing damage caused by natural disasters.
