Lam Dong: Gia Bac Pass has reopened after many hours of paralysis.

On the morning of October 31, Mr. Vu Duc Nhuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Dien Commune (Lam Dong), said that after many hours of efforts to overcome the consequences of the landslide, this morning National Highway 28 through Gia Bac Pass was basically cleared, people and vehicles can pass.

According to the People's Committee of Son Dien commune, the risk of landslides is still high due to heavy rain and there are currently at least 4 landslides and cracks on the slope, the risk of landslides is very high. At the scene, some sections of National Highway 28 have long cracks, the structure is no longer guaranteed.

As reported by SGGP, on the evening of October 30, a landslide occurred on National Highway 28 through Gia Bac Pass ( Lam Dong Province), paralyzing traffic. Immediately afterward, authorities urgently mobilized about 50 people and machinery to the scene to clear a large amount of soil and rock that spilled onto National Highway 28.

This is the third time in the past few days that this mountain pass has been hit by a landslide, causing traffic disruption in the area. Gia Bac Pass is over 10km long and belongs to National Highway 28 (connecting Son Dien commune with Ham Thuan Bac commune), connecting from National Highway 20 to National Highway 1A in Lam Dong province.
