As one of the biggest projects of the year of the Television Drama Production Center, Vietnam Television, “Space of Time” brings the audience to the story of soldiers in peacetime, with great and noble missions, while interweaving slices of historical years, when the fathers' generation was in the war to protect peace , to gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc, Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics, shared that there are many films about revolutionary wars, but there are still few films about Uncle Ho's soldiers in peacetime. Therefore, "Space of Time" is one of the films that gives the audience the most realistic and respectful look at soldiers in peacetime.

For over a year, the film crew has been rolling on all terrains, in many different locations, in all kinds of harsh weather conditions. When we were finally preparing to finish filming, storm number 3 happened and the consequences were very complicated.
During the filming, the film crew lived and ate with the army units, sharing a lot with the soldiers. The film crew also received support and guidance from units such as Military Region 2, Air Defense - Air Force, Engineering Corps, Brigade 229, Son La Provincial Military Command, Son La Provincial Border Guard, National Defense Economic Group 226... The film crew members understood more about the lives of soldiers, especially in remote areas, areas with difficulties and hardships, and vice versa, the soldiers also understood more about the work of artists. "That shows the affection and close connection between the army and the people" - Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc emphasized.
“We received enthusiastic support, from orientation and shaping the film, living and eating together, to constructive comments to create the most realistic and vivid film images” – director, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Danh Dung said.

The setting is very realistic, creating a lot of emotions. |
Therefore, the image of soldiers selflessly carrying out their duty to protect the people is portrayed in a very close and realistic way in the film. Director Nguyen Duc Hieu said that in the scene of rescuing people in the flooded area, the scene was filmed so realistically that many people wondered if it was the scene filmed during Typhoon Yagi, which hit the north and caused heavy damage in early September.
However, according to the film crew, this scene was completely recreated on a pond combined with some special effects and technical support. The scene touched many viewers, when it was related to the severe consequences that Typhoon Yagi left on many provinces and cities.

Not only impressing with realistic scenes of soldiers in peacetime, the film "Timeless" also touches the audience's emotions when it brings slices of the past, of fierce wars and of those who have fallen.
In episode 11 of the film, the years of bombs and bullets are recreated through the story of Mr. Nam, the father of Lieutenant Colonel Dai. Mr. Nam tells about his time, the young men and women sacrificed themselves for the country, but no one was afraid or discouraged, all of them were devoted to the Fatherland. But when the gunfire stopped, those soldiers returned to the innocent, optimistic appearance of youth, as if they had never experienced bombs and bullets. It is these opposite extremes that highlight the beauty of the soldiers, like monuments, but still very simple, touching the emotions of the audience.
