- Within the framework of the "Month of action for food safety in 2025", on the morning of May 7, the interdisciplinary food safety inspection team of Lang Son city inspected Dam Huong restaurant (a food service business on Tran Dai Nghia street, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city).
At the time of inspection, the facility basically met the food safety conditions such as: having a contract to buy and sell food ingredients, confirming food safety knowledge; having protective clothing and periodic health check-ups for workers; equipment and tools ensuring hygiene; having a complete and correct three-step inspection record book.
However, the inspection team also pointed out some shortcomings: the facility has not presented the business registration certificate and food safety certificate of the fresh food supplier; the alcohol supply contract does not have complete information; there is a lack of contract (or invoice as prescribed) of the prepackaged food supplier.
During the program, the Inspection Team instructed the facility to properly implement food safety regulations and requested the facility to supplement and complete the above documents before May 14, 2025; consider arranging changing rooms and hand washing areas for employees directly involved in food processing.
According to the plan, from now until May 15, 2025, the city's interdisciplinary inspection team will continue to inspect compliance with legal regulations on ensuring food safety and hygiene at 8 food production and business establishments, food service establishments and collective kitchens in the area.
