Strengthening the Steering Committee on Population and Development

On December 12, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on the restructuring of the Provincial Steering Committee for Population and Development, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of inter-sectoral direction and coordination in implementing population work in the province.

Improving the quality of the population is linked to economic growth, ensuring social security, and sustainable development.

The Steering Committee is responsible for directing, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of key issues related to population and development; researching and proposing solutions; developing annual activity plans; and managing and utilizing program funds in accordance with regulations.

The restructuring of the Provincial Steering Committee for Population and Development is a necessary step, demonstrating the province's determination to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of population and development work, meeting the requirements of sustainable development in the new period.
