Lam Dong's export turnover reached over 2.4 billion USD.

Lam Dong province recorded positive signals from import and export activities in the first eight months of 2025. Export turnover alone reached over 2.4 billion USD, equivalent to 79.8% of the plan, an increase of 20.5% compared to the same period in 2024.

Lam Dong 's alumina and hydrate products exported in the first eight months of 2025 reached over $438 million, an increase of 29.4% compared to the same period.

According to the Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade, import and export activities in the province continue to be promoted. In the first nine months of 2025, the province's total export turnover is estimated at over 2.4 billion USD, reaching 79.8% of the plan, an increase of 20.5% compared to the same period last year.

Most of the province's key export items increased compared to the same period last year, including: aluminum and hydrate; vegetables, tubers, and fruits; seafood; garments; and footwear.

Lam Dong province's green coffee exports in the first eight months of 2025 reached US$402.5 million, an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period in 2024.

To boost export activities, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee is focusing on solutions to remove difficulties in production and business, and accelerate the progress of large projects, especially in the fields of renewable energy, bauxite-alumina, and titanium.

During a working session with Lam Dong province on September 12th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested the locality to promptly establish a provincial-level Steering Committee to address each project and focus on six key tasks.

Lam Dong province has a strong advantage in high-tech vegetable and flower production for export to countries around the world.

In this context, the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized that localities should focus on developing deep processing industries, especially for distinctive agricultural products, while also expanding into foundational industries; focusing on building local product brands, linking trade with tourism, and developing the night-time economy.

Lam Dong province's garment and textile raw material exports reached US$266.7 million in the first eight months of 2025, an increase of nearly 5% compared to the same period last year.

At the same time, we will promote trade, combining traditional and e-commerce methods, effectively utilizing FTA (Free Trade Agreement) agreements, and expanding exports to Mexico, South America, Africa, and other regions.
