200 delegates attended the 1st Congress of the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union.

The first Congress of the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union, for the term 2025–2030, will take place over two days, December 22-23, with 200 official delegates in attendance.

According to the Provincial Labor Union, as of October 31st, all 11 commune and ward-level special zone labor unions in the province had completed their congresses for the 2025-2030 term, achieving 100% of the planned target. The direction and organization of these congresses were carried out synchronously and on schedule, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor .

Representatives from the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism discussed the content of propaganda and information dissemination with news agencies and media outlets based in the area.

Currently, the Provincial Trade Union directly manages 949 grassroots trade unions, with over 89,279 union members. With the motto "Unity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development," the First Congress of the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union, for the term 2025–2030, aims to evaluate the results of implementing the Resolution for the period 2023–2025 and determine the goals, directions, and tasks for the term 2025–2030, further enhancing the position and role of the Trade Union organization in the new development phase.

The Vietnam News Agency's correspondent in Lam Dong province offered suggestions on how to provide press information and publicity about the Congress.

Preparations for the Congress have been largely completed, fulfilling all necessary conditions. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions has drafted, consulted, and received feedback and suggestions from relevant units to supplement and finalize the report to be presented to the Congress. Personnel matters for the Congress are handled in accordance with regulations and principles.

The congress is scheduled to take place over two days, December 22-23, 2025, at the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House. The congress will have 280 delegates attending, including 200 official delegates and 80 invited guests.

Representatives of Nhan Dan Newspaper based in Lam Dong province participated in the press conference to offer their opinions.

The Provincial Federation of Labor Unions is stepping up its efforts to publicize activities before, during, and after the Congress. This includes coordinating with Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television, and Lao Dong Newspaper to create special pages, sections, and reports for publicity; encouraging units and businesses to display banners and slogans; and creating conditions for union members and workers to follow the opening session of the Congress.

At the press conference, representatives from local and central agencies and media outlets based in the area raised several questions and exchanged views related to the organization of the Congress, such as: the methods of organization, publicity, and press releases about the Congress; and extensive coordination with media agencies in the area…

Comrade Nguyen Phu Hoang, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor, answered questions and provided further information about the Congress.

Speaking at the press conference, Comrade Nguyen Phu Hoang, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor, affirmed that the Provincial Labor Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term is a special milestone for the Labor Union organization, determining the direction of activities in the new period.

Taking into account the feedback received, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor hopes that media agencies will pay attention to and vividly and comprehensively disseminate information before, during, and after the Congress; activities in response to the Congress; and highlight outstanding achievements and the aspirations of union members to the trade union organization, creating consensus and spreading a vibrant atmosphere of emulation leading up to the Congress.
