Timely remove difficulties, promote socio-economic development of Hau Nghia commune

In order to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing socio-economic development tasks at the grassroots level, on the morning of November 12, 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut chaired a working session with the leaders of Hau Nghia commune. At the meeting, Chairman of Hau Nghia Commune People's Committee Truong Minh Hoang reported on the socio -economic development situation, and pointed out a number of difficulties and problems encountered in the process of implementing tasks. Specifically, the infrastructure of Bau Trai market is degraded, not ensuring hygiene conditions, fire prevention and fighting and traffic safety in the surrounding area. The investment project to upgrade the market is still stuck in legal procedures and investment capital, while the demand for trading and exchanging goods of the people is increasing.

For the Mai Van Tuu Primary School project, the locality encountered difficulties in arranging capital for construction and site clearance. In addition, a number of other welfare projects in the area are also facing obstacles in investment and bidding procedures, affecting construction progress and capital efficiency. Regarding personnel work, Hau Nghia commune still lacks a number of specialized civil servant positions after the administrative organization reorganization, the workload increases while the staff is limited, affecting to the effectiveness of administrative procedure settlement and implementation of programs and projects at the local level.

After listening to the local report, representatives of the provincial departments and branches directly discussed, guided and resolved each specific content, and affirmed that they will continue to coordinate and support Hau Nghia commune in the process of implementing socio-economic development tasks.

Concluding the working session , Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that the province always accompanies and supports localities in resolving difficulties and problems, and at the same time clearly directs the handling direction for each specific issue. Regarding Bau Trai market, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Commune People's Committee to proactively review all legal procedures, determine investment capital sources and develop appropriate exploitation plans to soon put the project into stable operation, serving the buying and selling needs of the people.

For the Mai Van Tuu Primary School project, the province will review and balance funding sources, and plan to implement them in 2026. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to send specialized staff to coordinate with the commune in appraising compensation prices, and to guide and support localities in resolving specialized problems. Regarding the work of organization and staff, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the commune to continue to consolidate and improve the apparatus, enhance the sense of responsibility of the staff, civil servants and public employees, and regularly encourage and motivate the grassroots workforce. Chairman Nguyen Van Ut affirmed that the province will continue to listen, accompany, and provide maximum support to Hau Nghia to overcome difficulties, promote potential and strengths, and contribute to building the locality to increasingly comprehensive and sustainable development./.
