Signing cooperation agreement on management and operation of Tripmap tourism digital transformation application

BHG - On the afternoon of September 20, the Provincial Tourism Association and ADVER Media Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony for cooperation in managing and operating the Tripmap - Ha Giang tourism digital transformation application. Attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vuong Ngoc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of a number of departments and branches.

As a province located at the intersection of the two cultural regions of the Northeast and Northwest, Ha Giang is considered a locality with great potential and advantages and holds an important position in the development of tourism in the midlands and mountainous areas of the North and the whole country. With unique and rich tourism resources, the province has just been honored as Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination. In order to make the most of all methods and means of promotion and provide all the needs of tourists to learn about culture, nature, people and travel routes in the province, the province has pioneered in signing a cooperation agreement to manage digital transformation content for tourism with the Tripmap digital transformation application. Currently, Tripmap is available on both web platforms and applications for iOS and Android. The signing of the cooperation demonstrates the professionalism, elevation and transparency of all tourism information of the province.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son emphasized: The number of tourists coming to Ha Giang has grown rapidly and steadily. In the first 8 months of 2023, the whole province welcomed over 2 million tourists and is expected to reach about 3 million tourists by the end of the year. Ha Giang being honored as Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination is a very important award for the tourism industry. In the coming time, the province will continue to organize a variety of attractive and outstanding cultural, sports and tourism events such as: Spirit of Stone Off-Road Racing; Buckwheat Flower Festival; Ceremony to receive the Certificate of Recognition of the UNESCO Global Geopark of Dong Van Stone Plateau... Therefore, the event of launching and putting into operation the Tripmap - Ha Giang application is a practical activity to promote digital transformation of tourism, create a healthy, fair and favorable tourism environment, especially enhancing connectivity and interaction between tourists, businesses, people and the government. On that basis, departments, branches, localities, business community, and the Provincial Tourism Association need to promote information, propaganda, introduction, and promotion to make Tripmap application a popular, convenient, and reliable application, contributing to building Ha Giang tourism into a friendly, safe, and unique destination, a red address on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world.
