Disciplinary action against officials last week in Quang Ninh, Dong Nai, Can Tho

Former Director of Quy Nhon City Land Fund Development Center proposed for disciplinary action

On November 18, information from the Office of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee said that the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, term XX, 2020-2025, has just announced the results of the 33rd to 38th Sessions of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission.

At these meetings, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed and disciplined party members related to violations at the Hoang Van Thu extended road construction project in Quy Nhon City.

Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem (Party member of Trung Tin 1 village Party cell, Tuy Phuoc town, Tuy Phuoc district; former technical officer of Quy Nhon City Land Fund Development Center); Mr. Do Van Sang (former member of the City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, former Party Cell Secretary, former Director of Quy Nhon City Land Fund Development Center; Mr. Le Dinh Thao (former member of the City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, former Party Committee Secretary, former Chairman of the Board of Directors, former Director of Quy Nhon Road Repair Management Joint Stock Company). All three men were involved in violations at the Hoang Van Thu extended road construction project in Quy Nhon City.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem with a warning; and requested the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to consider and discipline Mr. Do Van Sang and Le Dinh Thao.

Remove all Party positions from the Director of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Can Tho

At the 33rd Session of the Central Inspection Committee, this agency reviewed the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Party Cell and Party Cell Secretary, and Director of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Can Tho City.

The Central Inspection Commission decided to take disciplinary action: Remove from all Party positions Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan - Party Cell Secretary, Director of the Department; warn the Party Committee of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Can Tho City for the terms 2015-2020, 2020-2025 and Mr. Pham Quoc Viet - former Party Cell Secretary, Director of the Department.

Remove the position of Chairman of Quang Ninh province from Mr. Nguyen Van Doc and Nguyen Duc Long

On November 15, the Government Office announced that Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed the Prime Minister's Decisions to discipline two former Chairmen of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

Specifically, in Decision No. 1347/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Doc by removing him from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province due to violations and shortcomings in his work and the Secretariat has disciplined him.

In Decision No. 1348/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Duc Long by removing him from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

Previously, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to take disciplinary action by removing the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province from Mr. Nguyen Duc Long and Mr. Nguyen Van Doc.

Proposal to discipline former Chief Prosecutor of Dong Nai Provincial People's Procuracy

On November 13, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee announced the conclusion of the 32nd session.

The announcement stated that it would continue to consider the proposal to discipline the Party Committee of the People's Procuracy of Dong Nai province for the 2015-2020 term.

At the same time, consider disciplining Mr. Huynh Van Luu - Party member of Ward 3 Party Cell (under the Party Committee of Buu Long Ward, Bien Hoa City). Mr. Luu is the former Chief Prosecutor of Dong Nai Provincial People's Procuracy, Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

Considering the content, nature and extent of shortcomings and violations of Party organizations and Party members, comparing them with Party regulations, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission submits them to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for consideration and decision according to their authority.
