Talented engineer of Dai Ninh Hydropower Company honored to receive Asean engineer certificate

4 engineers honored and received ASEAN Engineer Certificate

The Company's engineers honored this time include: Mr. Nguyen Dang Tuan - Head of Technical and Safety Department, Mr. Nguyen Chin - Deputy Manager of Repair Workshop, Mr. To Van Trong - Deputy Manager of Planning and Materials Department, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong - Shift Leader of Operation Workshop. These are key staff with many years of experience in power plant management and operation; always exemplary and pioneering in initiatives, technical improvements and scientific research.

In the morning program, engineers attended the workshop on APEC Engineer Joining Process: Sharing experiences and practices in training engineering professions in ASEAN and APEC regions, organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with the Federation of Southeast Asian Engineering Organizations (AFEO).

The workshop was divided into 2 sessions with the following contents: Sharing experiences on the process of joining Asia- Pacific engineers and Roundtable discussion "Cooperation between professional associations with businesses and training institutions in training and continuing education of engineers, meeting international standards in Vietnam today and orientations in the future".

In the afternoon, engineers attended the ASEAN Engineer Certificate Award Ceremony of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. Previously, on October 19, 2023, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations issued Decision No. 929/QD-LHHVN to recognize the title of ASEAN Professional Engineer in 2023 for 87 engineers nationwide, including 04 engineers of Dai Ninh Hydropower Company.

This is a prestigious organization that brings together the best engineers in the ASEAN region. Joining this organization can bring many benefits to engineers, science and technology organizations, and technical associations in our country, including the ability to access new markets, networking opportunities, and the ability to share knowledge and expertise with other experts.

The world has been witnessing great leaps in information technology, the internet, automation and development based on knowledge and artificial intelligence. The outlook for the world economy will have major changes in the next 10 to 15 years. New technologies will continue to make great progress, especially in terms of productivity and labor efficiency, while creating a strong shift in technical labor. The trend of shifting technical labor is inevitable, and the benefits brought about by the labor shift process are undeniable.
