Memories of 70 years of the medical industry: Spreading pride, fueling dedication

On the afternoon of May 29, the Ministry of Health held a ceremony to summarize and award the quiz contest "Learning about the 70-year history of the Vietnamese healthcare sector", to honor the tradition of the healthcare sector and express gratitude to the "white-coat soldiers" who have dedicated themselves to public health.

The contest was launched from February 27 to May 10, 2025, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho's letter to the health sector (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025) - a sacred milestone, recognizing his deep concern for the mission of taking care of community health.

The organizers awarded the second prize to the individual.

After more than 3 months of implementation, the contest has attracted nearly 30,000 participants from cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the health sector, as well as students from health training schools nationwide.

Many units actively responded, creating a widespread impact, typically: Nghe An Provincial Endocrinology Hospital, Binh Duong Provincial Center for Disease Control, Central Institute for Drug Testing, Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, Da Nang C Hospital, Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital...

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 27 prizes including: 16 individual prizes, 7 collective prizes and 4 special prizes for the contestants with the best achievements.

The first individual prize was awarded to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mo, an officer of Nghe An Province Endocrinology Hospital. At the same time, Nghe An Province Endocrinology Hospital also won the first collective prize.

At the award ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen presented awards and congratulated the winning individuals and units, and emphasized the profound significance of the competition, saying that this was not only an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of 70 years of building and developing the health sector, but also a journey to spread pride, love for the profession and gratitude to generations of doctors, those who work day and night for the health of the people.

The success of the contest is not only reflected in the number of participants, but also reflects the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the entire industry in inheriting and promoting the precious traditions left by Uncle Ho and previous generations.
