Strange and delicious with tofu in sack

Not only possessing an eye-catching appearance, each small, round and golden "burlap sack" is made from delicious tofu. Inside is a rich and attractive mixture of meat, mushrooms and onions, combined with an impressive sauce.

Ingredient:

- Tofu

- Minced meat

- Egg

- Scallions, shiitake mushrooms, tomatoes

- Spices: cooking oil, oyster sauce, seasoning powder, fish sauce, tomato sauce, sugar….

Making:

- Lightly cut one end of the tofu and remove all the soft inside.

- Soak the mushrooms until they expand, wash them, and chop them finely.

- Wash green onions, cut off the top part of the onion and set aside to slice for decoration, finely chop the leaves. Blanch the remaining green onions in boiling water until soft to tie the top part of the tofu in a burlap bag.

- Wash tomatoes and cut into wedges.

- Mix minced meat, chopped shiitake mushrooms, eggs, tofu, chopped green onions and add seasoning.

- Stuff all the filling into the tofu skin that has had the insides removed, leaving a section to tie. Loosely gather the "burlap sack" and tie it with blanched green onions.

- Saute minced onion until fragrant, add tomato and stir-fry. Add oyster sauce, tomato sauce, sugar, seasoning powder, stir well. Add water to the sauce pan and arrange each piece of tofu in the pan, simmer, cover the pan for about 15 minutes until the tofu is cooked and the spices are absorbed. Add chopped green onion and turn off the heat.

Arrange the tofu on a plate, pour the sauce over, decorate with chopped green onions and enjoy.
