Lam Dong keeps the old Governor's Palace in Da Lat intact

(CLO) Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just given its opinion on reviewing the content of adjusting the detailed planning and urban design of the Hoa Binh Center area, the area adjacent to Xuan Huong Lake, Da Lat City, in which the scale and architecture of the old Da Lat Provincial Governor's Palace are kept intact.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just sent a document to the Department of Construction and Da Lat City People's Committee to comment on reviewing the content of adjusting the detailed planning and urban design at a scale of 1/500 in the central area of ​​Hoa Binh, Da Lat City.

Accordingly, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with Da Lat City People's Committee to specifically review the approved detailed planning and urban design of Hoa Binh center, and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider before November 1, 2024 to report to the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to ask for opinions from the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Continue to coordinate and guide Da Lat Land One Member Co., Ltd. to research and adjust the planning of the Anh Sang commercial center area with planning and architectural criteria in accordance with the orientation of the Project to adjust the overall planning of Da Lat city and surrounding areas until 2045 (creating a pedestrian area and commercial space from the areas of Hoa Binh commercial center - Lam Vien Square);

Combine and support the central area of ​​Hoa Binh to form a dynamic and bustling commercial center with a walking area connecting green spaces, landscapes, and water surfaces.

For Tran Quoc Toan Park, focus on reviewing and surveying the current status, comparing the urban landscape design around Xuan Huong Lake, consulting and proposing feasible plans and solutions to exploit effectively, in harmony with the landscape around Xuan Huong Lake and complying with legal regulations.

Focus on reviewing and re-surveying the approved detailed planning of residential areas and Anh Sang Park, advising on and proposing plans and solutions for effective, suitable and feasible exploitation to attract and call for investment.

Previously, the story of planning the Hoa Binh Center area and architectural options on the old Governor's Palace hill in Da Lat caused many conflicting opinions. Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned specialized agencies to review and study the plan to retain the private land fund of the old Governor's Palace, and at the same time propose a plan to use it for public purposes, serving the people, in conjunction with preserving the current construction, developing open spaces and green spaces for the central area.
