On the morning of November 25, comrade Nguyen Hong Hai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to comprehensively assess the extent of damage, repair progress and discuss solutions to ensure traffic safety.
According to a report from the Department of Construction, damage after floods was recorded on 5 national highways including: National Highway 20 (Mimosa Pass), 27, 28, 27C, 14C; Prenn Pass; 3 provincial roads (DT.725, DT.714, DT.729) and 2 main roads managed by the locality.
It is estimated that the total cost needed to repair damage on key roads managed by the Department of Construction is about 361 billion VND.
At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and localities presented the work of reviewing and synthesizing damages, reporting on the progress of remediation and proposing solutions for affected works.
Accordingly, the repair progress on key routes is currently being urgently deployed.

At Mimosa Pass, Project Management Board 85 is opening a temporary road and is expected to complete it on November 28, 2025. In the long term, the plan to build an overpass has been approved by the Ministry of Transport, with a width of 9m. The overpass construction will be carried out in phase 2, starting on December 10, 2025 and expected to be completed in 3-4 months.
D'ran Pass, the Department of Construction said that the work of collecting soil and clearing the road will be completed on December 10, 2025. The implementation of excavation and offloading on the slope side was delayed due to heavy rain from November 16-21, 2025, and the construction unit started on November 23, 2025.

Gia Bac Pass (Km47+250 ÷ Km54+00), the construction unit promptly handled the landslide and subsidence of the road surface, restoring the route immediately after the incident. Other sections have been posted with warning signs and safety is ensured.
On National Highway 27C, units have urgently mobilized forces, barricaded, installed warning signs, and cleared rocks and soil to ensure traffic. However, vehicles are still unable to travel to Nha Trang because Khanh Le Pass ( Khanh Hoa ) has not been completely repaired.
On National Highway 14C (Km313+800 to Km319+900), the Department of Construction reported that it had directed the implementation of emergency measures such as placing warning signs, temporarily diverting traffic, clearing landslides and clearing the flow. Up to now, this section of the route has basically been guaranteed to be smooth and safe.
At Prenn Pass, Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company has deployed Larsen pile driving to reinforce the negative slope and is expected to temporarily open 2 lanes.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai criticized the management and maintenance of the Prenn Pass in the past time. At the same time, he directed the Department of Construction and the Road Maintenance Board to take over, ensure better maintenance, and request to complete thorough repairs before the Lunar New Year.

For Sacom Pass, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Construction to take over, urgently survey, evaluate and handle safety of the entire route.
Provincial roads (DT.725, DT.714, DT.729) also had deep subsidence and landslides. Up to now, the road management unit has organized to clean up and clear the sewers to ensure smooth traffic.
Traffic route from Dan Phuong commune to Tan Ha commune, Lam Ha (Section Km7+300 ÷ Km8+100 has subsided and is completely broken), Lam Ha area's Investment and Construction Project Management Board has coordinated with Tan Ha commune, Lam Ha People's Committee to inspect, evaluate, stretch ropes and place warning signs, temporarily banning traffic to survey the solution.

Bidoup Road in Lac Duong Commune was also blocked from all vehicles due to landslides and the People's Committee of Lac Duong Commune proposed allocating about 10 billion VND for repairs.
In addition, inter-commune roads, commune roads, village roads and hamlet roads also suffered minor damage, which has been promptly repaired by localities.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai directed relevant units to coordinate closely and concentrate efforts to ensure all projects are repaired effectively and safely.
Immediately after the meeting, comrade Nguyen Hong Hai and a number of leaders of relevant departments and units went to the field to inspect and urge the work of overcoming landslides on major mountain passes, including Prenn, D'Ran, and Mimosa.
