In addition, there are currently 59 inland waterway vehicles anchored at wharves and ports in the province with 420 crew members.
The total number of out-of-province vessels anchored at the provincial ports is 127 boats/469 workers. The whole province currently has 111 aquaculture cages with 264 workers in operation.

The Provincial Border Guard Command said that functional units are on duty 24/7. Thereby, they will notify the storm's developments, organize sea bans, and call on moving and operating vessels at sea to quickly come ashore to anchor. At the same time, they will monitor and grasp the storm's developments on mass media. As reported, before the complicated developments of storm No. 15 (Koto), on November 27, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a document requesting departments, units and localities to proactively prevent, avoid and respond to the storm.
Senior Lieutenant Le Thanh Tung - Head of Phan Thiet Border Control Station (Thanh Hai Border Guard Station) informed about the work of calling and controlling boats in the area to avoid storm No. 15.
The document clearly states: From 7:00 a.m. on November 28, all tourist boats, transport ships, and fishing vessels are prohibited from operating or traveling at sea until further notice.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 p.m. on November 29, the center of the storm was located at about 13.7 degrees North latitude; 112.2 degrees East longitude, in the northwest sea area of the Central East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 9 (75-88 km/h), gusting to level 11. Moving north, at a speed of about 5 km/h. From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm will move west-southwest at a speed of 5-10 km/h and continue to weaken.
Due to the storm's influence, the northwest sea area of the Central East Sea has strong winds of level 7; the area near the storm's eye has strong winds of level 8-9, gusting to level 11; waves 3-5m high, the area near the storm's eye 5-7m; very rough seas. Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
