Clarifying the reflection that primary school students' meals are worse than street food

On the afternoon of April 11, the leader of the People's Committee of Hue City (Thua Thien - Hue) said that he had received feedback from parents about the meals for boarding students at Quang Trung Primary School being too small and not ensuring nutrition. In the immediate future, the unit will direct specialized agencies to inspect and verify the information to have appropriate handling if there are violations.

Previously, parents of Quang Trung Primary School (Hue City) reported that their children's daily meals were far inferior to those sold on the roadside.

A female parent whose child is studying in grade 3 at Quang Trung Primary School shared that she almost cried when she saw the image of her child's lunch at school with only 2-3 pieces of boiled pork ribs, a piece of fried egg patty, stir-fried beans and white rice.

The lunch meal of Quang Trung Primary School students is said to be far inferior to the street food.

Parents said that each day they have to pay 27,000 VND/student including a lunch and a box of yogurt in the early afternoon. In addition, each student has to pay an additional 10,000 VND/meal to support the staff, teachers, and gas, fish sauce, salt... The total amount of money that parents have to pay for a day of lunch to Quang Trung Primary School is 37,000 VND/student.

According to these parents, this is not the first time they have complained about the poor quality of the school meals. They request that this matter be clarified.
