Clarifying the case of youth volunteers dancing in a karaoke bar

Regarding the incident of a group of people dressed as youth volunteers singing and dancing in the Paris Club karaoke bar (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) shared on social media, on March 20, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Inspectorate said that the unit had received information about the incident and was coordinating with the authorities to verify and clarify the matter in order to have a legal handling direction.

Previously, on social networks Facebook and TikTok, images and videos of a group of about 10 people dressed as youth volunteers entering a karaoke bar, passing by and shaking hands with the female employees of the bar were circulated.

The video also captures scenes inside the karaoke room, with this group of people dancing to vibrant music.

At the end of the video, a group of people dressed as youth volunteers bid farewell to a group of women, filmed in front of the Paris Club Linh Dam karaoke bar, branch 2, in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi .

This video received mixed reactions from the public after being posted.

After the video clip was shared on TikTok and Facebook, Hoang Mai District Police also invited representatives of the Paris Club karaoke establishment to work.

According to the karaoke representative, on February 28, he invited some of the facility's employees to make content related to military service, and rented youth volunteer uniforms, bucket hats, backpacks, and staged a clip at the Paris Club karaoke to post on social media. The purpose of the video was to make a souvenir for the facility's employees and was just for fun.

During the working process at the police agency, the representative of the Paris Club karaoke establishment clearly realized that posting false information on social networks was wrong and removed the above clip from social networks.

Currently, the Hoang Mai District Police Security Team is preparing a case file to handle according to regulations on administrative sanctions in the fields of post and telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology and electronic transactions for the above incident.
