On November 29, the workshop "AI Brainlessness: Phenomenon - Consequences - 3T Solution" took place in Hanoi .
Sharing at the event, Dr. Rakhee Das, Amity University said, AI is entering an unprecedented boom period. In just one year, the number of AI applications increased by more than 400%, with an average of about 1,000 new tools being created each month.
It is expected that by 2025, the total investment of international corporations in AI could exceed 200 billion USD.

However, according to Dr. Rakhee Das, the two biggest challenges today are the “AI brain vacuum” and the race to build giant AI models.
Competing with models like ChatGPT or Claude requires billions of dollars in funding, massive data infrastructure, and a team of thousands of engineers.
Mr. Chu Tuan Anh, Director of an international programmer training system, said that a fairly common phenomenon today is that after users create the desired result with AI, only about 5 minutes later they cannot remember the implementation process.
This situation not only appears in the field of programming or educational environments but also occurs more in offices.
He cited that many young people can write advertising content using AI very quickly, in just 2 to 3 minutes. But when asked about the hidden meanings or messages embedded in that same piece of content, most of them completely forget.

“According to our statistics, within just one month, if students continuously use AI to generate results without understanding why those results are obtained, more than 90% will become passive in the thinking process,” Mr. Tuan Anh emphasized.
Experts at the workshop also made recommendations for using AI effectively without falling into a state of “brainlessness”. The solution is encapsulated in three principles:
First, before you start using AI, take 3 minutes to think about how to do it.
Second, AI is just a tool, not a teacher. For example, if we consider AI as a teacher, we will give a command like “write me an entire essay or report”. At this point, we have left it to AI to do everything.
But if we consider AI as a tool, we will first have to build the structure of the article ourselves and then use AI to process each part.
Third, after receiving the results from AI, users should try to interpret and present them for about 3 minutes to friends, colleagues, or themselves. This helps to consolidate understanding and identify the hidden information that they want to convey.
