Lamine Yamal plays big, spends "mountains of money" to buy super luxury villa

(Dan Tri) - According to El Pais (Spain), Lamine Yamal is expressing special interest in the villa once owned by former Barcelona star Gerard Pique and singer Shakira.

Despite being only 18 years old, Yamal already has a salary that many seniors dream of. With an estimated income of 325,000 pounds per week, the Spanish star is said to be willing to spend millions of euros to own a luxury mansion associated with the couple Gerard Pique and Shakira.

The villa was Piqué and Shakira's home for nearly 12 years before the couple announced their split in June 2022. Built in 2012, it spans 3,800 square metres and consists of three separate houses, and was put up for sale for €14 million (£12 million) shortly after their divorce.

The main complex includes a tennis court, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a private recording studio where Shakira recorded many of her hits. However, after one of the three houses was sold separately, the value of the villa has dropped to around 11 million euros (9.5 million pounds).

Yamal is reportedly considering buying the entire property but will invest a large sum to renovate it to suit his lifestyle and personal taste.

In addition to finding a new place to live, Yamal is said to have bought another house for his mother, father and grandmother. This is proof that he always puts family first, even at the height of his fame.

In recent times, Yamal has made public his relationship with Nicki Nicole, a 25-year-old Argentinian singer. She often appears in the stands of Camp Nou to cheer on her boyfriend's matches, attracting a lot of attention from the Spanish media.

Many people speculate that Yamal spent tens of millions of euros to buy a villa because he wanted to prepare a “love nest” to welcome Nicole home. However, in recent times, the young Barcelona star has not shown any signs of being ready to get married with his girlfriend.
