
The contest is hosted by VTC Multimedia Corporation in coordination with the Ministry's Office, aiming to encourage the community to learn, preserve and promote national cultural identity, while promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world in the context of digital transformation. Through the use of digital media platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, the contest contributes to strongly spreading Vietnamese cultural and spiritual values to the domestic and international communities.
The contest consists of two parts. Part 1 - Vodcast "Identity Dialogue": Encourages the creation of short videos sharing experiences, stories and unique perspectives on Vietnamese culture. Part 2 - Quiz "Understanding Identity": Tests knowledge of history, culture, art, tourism and outstanding achievements of the industry. The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying and working in Vietnam; takes place online on the website www.bansac.vn.

In particular, for the Vodcast Contest "Identity Dialogue": 1 prize for the dialogue pair with the highest total votes: 20,000,000 VND; 3 individual prizes (highest number of votes on 1 vodcast, highest total votes on all vodcasts, highest total number of single vodcasts entered into the voting round): Each prize is 10,000,000 VND. Time to receive Vodcast works: from August 15 to 25; voting and knowledge competition: from August 28 to September 6.
"Understanding Identity" Quiz Contest: 1 First Prize: 10,000,000 VND; 1 Second Prize: 5,000,000 VND; 1 Third Prize: 3,000,000 VND and other secondary prizes.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Huu Ngoc said that the contest is expected to become a media highlight with great influence, arousing the love and understanding of national culture on digital platforms. By applying artificial intelligence, the Organizing Committee hopes to bring a modern, fair and objective cultural playground.
Chu Tien Dat, Chairman of the Board of Members of VTC, emphasized: In the context of deep integration, the digital environment is not a threat, but the most powerful tool to approach, renew and spread Vietnamese culture to young people. Mr. Dat believes that young people will be the pioneering force to bring Vietnamese cultural identity to "live" strongly in the digital space, with creativity and appeal.
