The Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation in 2024 are organized to implement the results of the State visit to Vietnam by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, to implement the Minutes of the 24th Session of the Vietnam-Russian Federation Intergovernmental Committee on Economic -Trade and Scientific-Technological Cooperation, the Vietnam-Russian Federation Cultural Cooperation Program for the 2022-2024 period and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Basic Principles of Vietnam-Russian Federation Friendship Relations.
The program will introduce and promote the cultural values and tourism potential of Vietnam to the Russian public through art performances, film screenings, exhibitions, and tourism promotion seminars to enhance understanding, friendship and good cooperation between the people of the two countries, contributing to further developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

With the approval of the Prime Minister , Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung will lead a delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam to visit and work in the Russian Federation.
During the working trip, in addition to chairing the Opening Ceremony, art performances, film screenings... Minister Nguyen Van Hung will co-chair the First Meeting of the Vietnam-Russia Working Group on Cultural Cooperation with the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation; Work bilaterally with the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, sign the Memorandum of Understanding on Vietnam-Russia Sports Cooperation and work bilaterally with representatives of the St. Petersburg City Government.

The art program within the framework of the Vietnam Cultural Days in the Russian Federation in 2024 will include classical music performances, performances of traditional and contemporary Vietnamese singing, dancing, music and Vietnamese Ao Dai fashion show, and screening of video clips introducing Vietnamese culture and landscapes developed and organized by the Vietnam National Academy of Music in collaboration with the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater and related units.
The art program was held in Moscow on July 2 and St. Petersburg on July 6 with the participation of people's artists, meritorious artists, doctors, masters, music lecturers... including many artists who studied at prestigious music training institutions of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize a photo exhibition "Vietnam - Land of World Heritages" in Moscow on July 2 and in St. Petersburg on July 4.
The exhibition displays impressive photographic works about natural and cultural heritages in Vietnam that have been recognized by UNESCO as world heritages, along with a number of types and titles recognized by UNESCO, handicrafts, traditional Vietnamese costumes, etc.
The exhibition not only introduces the beauty of Vietnamese culture, country and people, but also has important significance, contributing to the continued development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, especially when the two countries are looking forward to celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2025.

Also within the framework of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia, the Department of Cinema, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Russian Audiovisual Content Agency (ROSKINO) jointly organized the Vietnamese Film Days in Moscow from July 3 to July 5.
Vietnamese Film Days in Moscow will screen 5 films including: Thach Thao; Mat Biec; The Legend of Quan Tien; You and Trinh; Dao, Pho and Piano.
In addition, from July 1-7, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Vietnam and Lenin Memorial Site, Russia jointly organized the exhibition "Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh - Perspective from propaganda posters: 1969 - 2011" at Lenin Memorial Site, Ulyanovsk city and signed a cooperation agreement between Ho Chi Minh Museum, Vietnam and Lenin Memorial Site.
The exhibition "Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh - Perspective from propaganda posters: 1969 - 2011" is designed to introduce to visitors in Russia images of President Ho Chi Minh through graphic art, created by Vietnamese artists.
With rich graphic style and concise writing language, the collection of propaganda paintings has portrayed President Ho Chi Minh - a great but extremely simple and close leader, creating a strong propaganda message about his brilliant qualities, a great source of encouragement for generations of Vietnamese people in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.

Also within the framework of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia, the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program will be held in two cities, Moscow on July 3 and Saint Petersburg on July 5, to effectively implement Resolution 82/NQ-CP of the Government on key tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery, accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development, enhance competitiveness, and promote the attraction of the Russian tourist market after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The program consists of two main parts: meeting Vietnamese and Russian businesses and introducing Vietnamese tourism. The event will be attended by hundreds of delegates from tourism businesses, media, and tourism management agencies of Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
