Thanh Tan Commune identified that DVK is one of the decisive factors for the success or failure of the hunger eradication, poverty reduction, socio-economic development, and new rural construction in the locality. From that awareness, the Commune Party Committee has directed mass organizations to regularly innovate methods and improve the quality of mass mobilization work. Since then, many movements launched by the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations have attracted a large number of people to participate, such as: Movement to join hands in building new rural areas, competing to develop the economy, eliminate hunger, and reduce poverty; bringing high-value crops and livestock into production... With the motto "The State and the People work together", many construction projects such as schools, roads, cultural houses... have been invested in construction. The Commune launched movements such as "Environmental sanitation of village roads and alleys", "5 no, 3 clean" movements; Organize propaganda activities, raise awareness of environmental protection, improve the surrounding living environment... By the end of 2024, Thanh Tan commune had completed 19/19 NTM criteria; currently the average income per capita of the commune reached 45.19 million VND/year.
From a purely agricultural commune with many difficulties, over the past time, Phuong Nghi commune has made a breakthrough in building new rural areas. By the end of 2024, Phuong Nghi commune had completed 19/19 new rural criteria. Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune Le Viet Huong said: The above results are clear evidence of the work of public service when the Party Committee, the government and the people join hands and are unanimous. With the active and methodical participation of the commune's mass mobilization bloc and the village's mass mobilization teams in propaganda and mobilization work, people have understood and supported the Party's correct policy. Many families in the commune voluntarily donated agricultural land, residential land, demolished family structures, contributed money and labor to expand roads, classify waste, and build drainage ditches in residential areas. Up to now, 100% of rural roads have been asphalted and concreted. Schools, medical stations, cultural houses and sports fields have been invested to serve the people's lives. Currently, average income per capita has increased to 45.5 million VND/year, the poverty rate has decreased to 4.1%, and the near-poor rate to 2%.
Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Như Thanh District Party Committee, Lê Văn Quang, said: In order to effectively carry out mass mobilization work, Party committees and authorities at all levels in the district have proactively expanded and diversified forms of mobilization, gathering and uniting people of all walks of life through patriotic emulation movements. Each commune, town, agency and unit in the area closely follows the key tasks of the locality and unit to build grassroots public service models. In addition, Như Thanh district also focuses on building the style of cadres who must be close to the people, must make the people trust; regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, thereby promptly resolving issues arising from the grassroots; constantly promoting the responsibility of Party committees, cadres and party members in receiving and listening to people's opinions in the work of Party building and government building.
Up to now, Nhu Thanh district has built 349 public service models in all fields, such as: Model of mobilizing people to donate land to open roads for new rural construction; model of applying mechanization, science - technology, new varieties in production; model of Farmers' Association linking revolving capital to help each other develop the economy , eliminate hunger and reduce poverty sustainably; model of supporting reform; model of residential areas implementing harmonious hunger eradication and poverty reduction; model of "Traffic safety school gate", "Mural road", "Blooming electric pole"...
It can be affirmed that the construction and replication of models and typical DVK in Nhu Thanh district has promoted the strength of the entire political system in mass mobilization work. Effectively implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, and building the local political system.
