Mrs. Ly Thi Phol's family is near-poor. Her husband has passed away, and Mrs. Phol herself suffered a stroke and cannot walk, so she needs someone to take care of her. The family's livelihood mainly depends on her niece's salary as a worker. Mrs. Phol's old house is in disrepair, but there is no money to repair it.

The Party Cell of the Specialized Department, Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television mobilized the Can Tho Lan Friends Volunteer Group to support 60 million VND, and Ms. Phol's family contributed an additional 32 million VND to build a Charity house of about 60 square ^meters .

Supporting the construction of Charity houses is one of the social and charitable activities under the model of skillful mass mobilization carried out by Can Tho Newspaper (old), now Can Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television, for many years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Hoang Men emphasized: After more than 10 years of implementing the "Smart Mass Mobilization" model for social security, the Party Committee of Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television has connected many kind hearts to care for and help hundreds of poor households, those in difficult circumstances, and those with illnesses, including supporting the construction of "Humanitarian Houses"; helping thousands of students in difficult circumstances to go to school. The Lan Can Tho Friends Volunteer Group has accompanied Can Tho Newspaper (old), now Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television, for many years to support the construction of 8 Humanitarian Houses for poor and near-poor households facing housing difficulties, helping them stabilize their lives.
