Establishment of Vinh Long Economic Zone Management Board after merging 3 provinces

TPO - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed a decision to establish the Vinh Long Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, on the basis of merging 3 boards of the old Vinh Long, Ben Tre, and Tra Vinh provinces.

Accordingly, the Vinh Long Provincial Economic Zone Management Board was established on the basis of merging the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board (old), the Ben Tre Provincial Industrial Zone Management Board (old) and the Vinh Long Industrial Zone Management Board (old).

The Vinh Long Provincial Economic Zone Management Board is an agency under the Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of direct state management of industrial parks and economic zones in the province. The Management Board and organization perform the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for enterprises in industrial parks and economic zones in Vinh Long province.

The Board has legal status, an account, a seal; state administrative management expenses, career operation expenses and development investment capital are provided by the state budget.

The decision takes effect from July 31, 2025.
