Ge-Shen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (“GSV”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ge Shen Corporation Bhd (Malaysia), established in 2006 in Hai Duong (now Hai Phong), near Hanoi. In the same year, GSV was among 800 licensed FDI enterprises in 43 provinces and cities across the country. GSV’s initial investment was USD 2.7 million and has now increased to a total of USD 8.6 million.

As a certified export processing enterprise (EPE) and contract manufacturer, GSV is strategically located in Dai An Industrial Park, operating in a 16,000 m² facility. Currently, GSV operates 60 injection molding machines, along with automated assembly lines and equipment in two manufacturing workshops with a total built-up area of ​​7,500 m². In addition, GSV has 2,500 m² of spare land, ready to serve the next phase of expansion.

GSV serves a variety of industries, including:

• Retail security equipment (EAS anti-theft tags, home security equipment),

• Industry (gas detectors for buildings & homes, power converters),

• Office automation & data storage equipment (barcode printers, printers, office phone systems, data storage devices).

• Consumer electronics and many other customized fields.

Historically, GSV has been known primarily as a component manufacturer for the domestic market. However, GSV has always aspired to become a complete product (box-build) manufacturer. This goal began to come true in 2022 when GSV received its first box-build orders from UK and US retail security customers, with final delivery in Idaho, USA. This project has contributed 7% of GSV’s annual revenue.

So far, US sales are expected to grow strongly by 24% in 2023 and 42% in 2024. By 2025, revenue from the US market is expected to increase by 65%, thanks to favorable tariff agreements and a solid supply chain foundation.

GSV’s technical and operations teams are constantly improving their ability to understand and support the needs of US customers. As a result, GSV has successfully expanded its cooperation with two more customers in Sioux Falls (South Dakota) and Phoenix (Arizona).
