Announcement and draw ceremony for the qualifying round of TNSV THACO Cup 2025

TNSV THACO Cup 2025 attracted 67 universities, colleges and academies nationwide to register to participate. This number exceeded the expectations of the Newspaper. Adolescent and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) are the two units coordinating the organization of the tournament under the direction of the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association.

TNSV THACO Cup 2025 has some new points in the tournament regulations such as: Each team can register a maximum of 23 players and a minimum of 18 players, including at least 2 goalkeepers; a maximum of 3 players who have played in national U.19 and U.21 tournaments from 2022 to present and a maximum of 5 foreign students (who have never played in national tournaments organized by VFF)...

TNSV THACO Cup 2025 with attractive prize structure. The champion team will receive the cup, honorary plaque, gold medal and prize of 300 million VND; the runner-up team will receive honorary plaque, silver medal and prize of 150 million VND; the two third-place teams will receive honorary plaque, bronze medal and prize of 70 million VND; the style-winning team will receive honorary plaque and 40 million VND.

The team of Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports is the current champion of the tournament.

The 2025 THACO Cup TNSV Qualifiers have 66 teams divided into 6 regions competing from December 28, 2024 to January 18, 2025, including Hanoi (December 30, 2024 - January 10, 2025 at Thuy Loi University), Central Coast (January 6 - January 12, 2025 at Military Zone 5 Stadium - Da Nang), South Central and Central Highlands (January 10 - January 18, 2025 at Nha Trang University), Southeast (January 4 - January 12, 2025 at Bau Thanh Stadium, Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Southwest (January 8 - January 17, 2025 at Can Tho Stadium) and Ho Chi Minh City (December 28, 2024 - January 15, 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University) to select 11 teams together. The home team, Ton Duc Thang University, will compete in the final round from March 1 to March 16, 2024, following the same format as the current U.19 and U.21 tournaments.

After the end of the final round of TNSV THACO Cup 2025, the Newspaper Adolescent will organize the Football Tournament Adolescent International Student Cup 2025 - THACO Cup, with professional support from the Vietnam Football Federation. The tournament takes place from March 24 to April 1, 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, with 6 participating teams.
