Family keeps the passion
Author Le Duy Hanh passed away more than a year ago (September 2023), and to date his family has compiled three collections of his works.
Dr. Hoang Thi Hanh, wife of author Le Duy Hanh, confided to Tuoi Tre that when he passed away, she meticulously compiled little by little a lot of valuable and useful documents for professionals from the large bookshelf he left behind.
To make the books, Ms. Hanh took each handwritten script page to type. She said she had to do it carefully herself, and while typing, she had to organize and think so she could fully understand his ideas on each page.
She estimates that Mr. Hanh currently has about 48 scripts, and 8 very good scripts are lost. She hopes that any troupes or artists who still have them will ask their families to return them. Some examples include When the Dawn Returns, The One Who Needs Protection, My Love ...

Ms. Hanh and her son, Dr. Le Hoang Long of Mathematics (currently living in the US) are planning to digitize Mr. Le Duy Hanh's works and create a website so that theaters, directors, and artists who want to search for his scripts will have convenient access to the most accurate text.

As in the legend , 300 copies were printed, and the family has donated them to a number of specialized schools, the National Library, theaters, and troupes...
