Schedule for announcing admission scores of nearly 300 universities nationwide

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of August 20, universities began announcing admission scores. The first round of admission results must be announced no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

Currently, there are nearly 300 universities and academies nationwide. According to Dan Tri reporters, the schools are ready to announce their admission scores after the final virtual filtering results.

According to the admission schedule, from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20, schools will upload data and admission information of candidates including high school graduation exam scores, results of separate exams, high school study results, etc., on the system and organize admission.

Along with that, the Ministry of Education and Training also processes on the system to determine the highest wish among the wishes for which the candidate is eligible to be admitted.

By 5pm on August 20, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the common system. After review, the first round of admission scores will have to be announced before 5pm on August 22.

The general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training will process and determine the highest wish among the wishes for which the candidate is eligible to be admitted.

Candidates confirm online admission for the first round on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.

From September 1 to December 2025, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds must follow the admission information posted on the training institution's admission information page.

In 2025, the university entrance exam will have many notable changes, including regulations on converting admission scores between admission groups. Candidates only need to register their wishes, the conversion will be carried out by the schools and the Ministry of Education and Training.

The Ministry of Education and Training notes that all candidates (including candidates admitted directly) must register for admission online, submitting all admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission Support System directly at: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn or indirectly through the National Public Service Portal.

This year, the whole country has more than 7.6 million registered wishes, accounting for more than 73% of the total number of candidates. On average, each candidate has chosen nearly 9 wishes.

Notably, this year the number of candidates registering for admission has increased by more than 115,000 compared to last year, partly thanks to more candidates from vocational colleges.

In 2025, the high school graduation exam scores will decrease significantly, so this year's admission floor scores of many universities will decrease sharply. Many experts predict that the benchmark scores will also tend to decrease. Some universities predict that the benchmark scores will decrease sharply by 1-4 points.
