Another factor to consider is age. Previously, many foreign players came to the V-League when they were past their peak, often only playing well in Vietnam for another 1 or 2 seasons. But now teams are looking to choose quality foreign players who are still in their prime. Names that can be mentioned include Filipe (HCM City Police Club, worth 1 million euros, 26 years old), Njabulo Blom (Nam Dinh Club, 950,000 euros, 25 years old), Yevgeniy Serdyuk ( Ha Tinh Club, 900,000 euros, 27 years old)...

Whether foreign players can integrate well into the V-League or not depends on many factors. But if based on the numbers, it is clear that the quality of foreign players is gradually improving. More importantly, positive signals have also arrived. In the National Super Cup match, rookie Kyle Hudlin of Nam Dinh Club shone with a double. Although he could not help his team defeat Hanoi Police Club (CAHN), with what he has shown, this striker promises to become a danger to defenders in the V-League.
