Hanoi City Cooperative Alliance celebrates Vietnam Cooperative Day

Reporting on the emulation and reward work in 2024, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Cooperative Alliance Nguyen Trung Thanh said that the Alliance system has closely followed the direction of the central government, Hanoi city and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to advise and effectively implement tasks in the plan for collective economic and cooperative development.

Over the past year, the Hanoi City Cooperative Alliance has closely coordinated with departments, branches, districts, towns and cities to synchronously deploy work contents according to plan; at the same time, promoted propaganda and consultation on cooperative development, recruited new members, and performed well the professional tasks in 2024.

Along with that, the emulation movement continued to be promoted with the active participation of cooperatives, cooperative unions and people's credit funds. Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were recognized and rewarded. "The emulation movement in the Hanoi City Cooperative Union system has created a strong driving force, contributing positively to the overall achievements of the collective economic sector and the socio-economic development of the capital", Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh emphasized.

At the ceremony, the Hanoi Cooperative Alliance launched the emulation movement in 2025, with the goal of continuing to consolidate and develop at least 70 cooperatives in communes building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas; supporting 250 cooperatives to participate in trade promotion, expanding product consumption markets. Disbursing about 150 billion VND from the Cooperative Development Support Fund to support 500 loan projects to develop production and business of cooperatives and members.

On this occasion, the Hanoi City Cooperative Alliance commended and rewarded many typical and advanced collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and specific and practical contributions to the movement to develop the capital's collective economy.
