Immediately after receiving the news, the 114 Command Center on duty verified the fire. At the same time, reported to the leaders of Hai Phong City People's Committee and Hai Phong City Police for instructions.

By 7:30 p.m. the same day, the fire had been basically contained by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Thuy Nguyen District, leaving only a few small fires and smoke. According to initial information, there were no human casualties.

Currently, Hai Phong City authorities are urgently working to completely extinguish the fire, calculate the damage and investigate the cause of the forest fire.
