The representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications requested that press agencies continue to promote information dissemination and warnings to the people. At the same time, specialized units under the Ministry of Information and Communications are also responsible for coordinating with relevant authorities to take measures to strictly handle this phenomenon.

The Ministry of Information and Communications has been fighting fiercely against cross-border social networking platforms. The Ministry of Information and Communications said that from April 15, 2023 to May 15, 2023, at the request of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Facebook blocked and removed more than 399 articles posting false information and propaganda against the Party, the State, brands, individuals and organizations, reaching a rate of 91%; Google removed 1,901 violating videos on YouTube, reaching a rate of 94%; and TikTok blocked and removed 51 violating links posting false information and negative content, reaching a rate of 98%.

One of the key tasks that the Ministry of Information and Communications will focus on this June is to continue to comprehensively inspect Tiktok's operations in Vietnam.
