The introduction video of the second confirmed member of The Black Label's upcoming girl group MEOVV after Ella has caught the attention of the audience.
The video comes with the message: "If I had to choose between the two, I already know my answer."
Gawon (Chloe Lee) is Korean-American, born in 2005. She trained at YG for about 2-3 years, left around 2021 and joined The Black Label. Chloe Lee is a child model, once appeared in an Adidas campaign.
Previously, the company also announced that member Ella was the first to debut to the public.
Previously, right after The Black Label officially announced the debut of the new girl group MEOVV in the second half of 2024, many predicted information about the group and its members began to attract the audience's attention.
According to Korean media, the girl group consists of 5 members, including 4 Koreans abroad and 1 Korean in the country.
The Black Label's famous trainees Ella Gross (Korean-German American), Bailey Sok (Korean American), and Chloe Lee (Korean American) may be three of the four overseas Korean members. As such, Ella is the first to be announced.
MEOVV (pronounced mee-ya-oh in Korean), launched their official SNS (social media platform debut) on August 16, Korean time, and revealed their group name and logo.
The group's motion logo features a cat paw decorated with glittering accessories. The logo's eye-catching features are its sharp claws, alluding to MEOVV's cute yet dangerous personality.
In another moving teaser posted by The Black Label on the same day, five black cats sit on top of the company's building, possibly referring to the five-member lineup.
MEOVV, trained by The Black Label's Teddy, is set to debut around the second half of 2024.
Previously, Rosé (Blackpink) joined producer Teddy's company after leaving YG Entertainment. Many audiences expect MEOVV to continue the success of their seniors.
