Revealed the moment the Indonesian U23 coach was angry and refused to shake hands with Mr. Kim Sang-sik

TPO - One day after the defeat in the U23 Southeast Asian final, Indonesian media suddenly posted a short video reflecting Gerald Vanenburg's openly resentful attitude. At the end of the final match, coach Kim Sang-sik came to shake his hand but was pushed away.

At the moment referee Koji Takasaki blew the whistle to end more than 100 minutes of play including extra time, Kim Sang-sik proactively shook Vanenburg's hand as a post-match formality. However, the U23 Indonesia coach immediately waved his hand, his face showing obvious displeasure. Looking at what the Dutch coach showed, anyone could understand that this was an impolite way of behaving, as if he wanted to chase away the opponent.

The coach of U23 Vietnam immediately turned away. He did not care much about his colleague's behavior. Instead, he focused on his students.

This video was not shown on television but was recorded by a fan on the field or a member of the coaching staff. It partly shows the tense atmosphere between the coaching staff of both sides, especially after the controversial situation about the throw-in at the end of the match. The Indonesian side believes that Vietnam deliberately made it difficult for them when Darwis made a long throw-in.

The climax was when Indonesia's goalkeeper coach Damian Van Rensburg entered the U23 Vietnam control area and kicked away water bottles at coach Kim's feet (the assistant was later shown a red card). Meanwhile, the U23 Vietnam side claimed that the team had no intention of stopping the opponent.

Notably, Mr. Vanenburg still shook hands with the U23 Vietnam players after the match. When asked about his behavior after the match, he deliberately ignored it. Instead, the Dutch coach criticized referee Koji Takasaki. He said that in the moment of giving Van Rensburg a red card, referee Koji "lost control".
