Tran Van Thao has his 19th professional victory
On the evening of November 15, the Ho Tram Legendary boxing event officially took place in Ho Tram commune (HCMC). The most anticipated match of the event was the match between famous Vietnamese boxer Tran Van Thao and Thai boxer Kwanchai Pliankhunthod in the 56 kg weight class. The match is expected to last for 8 rounds, each round lasting 3 minutes.
Possessing youthful strength, fast punches and agile movement, the 23-year-old Thai boxer somewhat surprised Van Thao. But later on, the experience and bravery of the boxer who won the WBC Asia 2017, IBA World 2022 and WBO Global 2024 belts gradually spoke up.

Van Thao took the initiative, gradually pressing and launching more precise blows, especially consecutive blows to the opponent's abdomen and ribs. Right at the beginning of the 4th round, Van Thao twice made Kwanchai Pliankhunthod dizzy and fall to the floor. The Thai boxer could not continue fighting, thereby ending the match when the 4th round lasted less than 1 minute. This is Tran Van Thao's 19th professional victory and 11th knockout victory in his career.

Nguyen Phi Khoa makes an impressive debut
In the opening match, Nguyen Phi Khoa, despite making his debut in the professional arena, surprised many with his diverse and standard fighting style to overwhelm Oh Jun-seok (Korea) in the 62 kg weight class in all 4 rounds, thereby winning by consensus points.
In another notable match of the event, Taiwan's No. 1 boxer Pei Yi Wu (29 years old) had a dramatic defense of her WBO Asia Pacific Title against Australian female boxer Pam Mccleliand (43 years old) with a huge record, in the 57.2 kg weight class.
In the first 3 rounds, Pei Yi Wu showed off her trademark stormy attacking style. Despite her good reach, Pam Mccleliand still had a hard time exchanging blows with the defending champion. Pam Mccleliand's experience was shown when she changed her tactics, using quick sniping moves before closing in, locking down Pei Yi Wu's attacks. The Australian's good tactics combined with Pei Yi Wu's gradually declining stamina caused the match to return to an exciting stalemate until the end of the match.
In the end, after 8 rounds, Pei Yi Wu won on points, thereby successfully defending his championship belt.
In other results, Im Su-hyun (South Korea) won on points against Kuo Kai Chi, handing the Taiwanese boxer his first loss of his career. Wang Fuwei (China) won by technical knockout against Park Jun-hyuk in the fourth round. Du Yuxin (China) won by technical knockout against Lee Ju-young (South Korea) and Phan Minh Quan lost on points to the Chinese boxer who was on a winning streak, Balihenbieke.
Thus, 7 exciting and dramatic matches of Ho Tram Legendary have officially ended. The event was organized by Cocky Buffalo - a martial arts training company and professional martial arts event organizer in Vietnam in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Boxing Federation (HBF), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and The Grand Ho Tram.
