Passion fruit drinks attract customers in summer
Passion fruit is not only delicious but also known as a golden fruit that enhances health, especially in the summer when the body is susceptible to dehydration, fatigue and vitamin deficiency.
According to Dr. Nguyen Thuy Ngan, Institute for Research and Development of Traditional Medicine of Vietnam, passion fruit contains many vitamins and minerals, providing good antioxidants such as vitamin A, vitamin C, polyphenol, beta-cryptoxanthin and carotenoids... These nutrients help strengthen the immune system, reduce the aging process caused by sunlight, and beautify the skin.
Passion fruit is also high in fiber and has a low glycemic index (GI), which helps control blood sugar levels and can be helpful for people with diabetes. Eating a medium-sized passion fruit weighing about 70 grams can provide about 3.3 grams of fiber, equivalent to '3 bowls of cabbage', so this fruit is still considered the 'king of fiber'.
