Ultra-clean water filtration thanks to CDIs technology

Experts share and discuss the project's potential

The project “Maxdream CDI/CDIs water purifier” researched by Maxdream Joint Stock Company (Thu Duc City) is one of the 5 best projects in the contest “Searching for Innovative Solutions in the field of sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024” (GIC 2024), chaired by the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City. The project has completed the product model, demonstrated the ability to deploy, can be applied in practice, and positively contributed to the sustainable development of the city.

CDIs technology can adjust the taste of the water to be strong or light according to the user's taste.

At the workshop, Maxdream representative introduced CDIs technology researched by the unit. This technology uses electric fields to remove ions and heavy metals, residual chlorine, bacteria without chemicals, ensuring clean water, rich in electrolyte micro-minerals, easy to absorb, meeting the highest drinking water standards of the Ministry of Health . In addition, CDIs technology can flexibly adjust the ion filtration rate, meeting the filtration needs of each water source (well water, tap water, saline water), adjusting the taste of water to the user's taste.

Dr. Do Huu Quyet, founder of Maxdream, said that the new technology allows for cleaner filtration, including ultra-small dissolved molecules in water effectively, thanks to selective treatment, helping the water source adjust the micro-minerals suitable for health.

“By developing advanced technologies, we want to bring water with better scientific value to users, while at the same time saving treatment costs and high efficiency. We have now brought this technology to households in Ho Chi Minh City to test and apply water treatment in high-tech industries at some factories,” Dr. Do Huu Quyet shared.

According to MSc. Nguyen Minh Hieu, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the workshop is an activity to create opportunities to connect excellent projects of the GIC 2024 Competition with experts, investors and strategic partners in the startup and innovation ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City. Maxdream's project entered the top 5 of the competition because of its high applicability. The project was eligible for an acceleration support package with a maximum support of up to 400 million VND and many other preferential support policies from Ho Chi Minh City.
