UK - a global education model

It is no coincidence that the UK is the study abroad destination of many Vietnamese students and is the "cradle" of many prestigious global educational institutions, creating exemplary scales.

According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report, UK universities are among the best in terms of school-industry collaboration, ensuring graduates meet the demands of employers. One of the common points between the prestigious universities mentioned above is that they all hold high positions in university rankings from global educational accreditation organizations in general and the UK in particular.

Typically in the UK, there are prestigious organizations and rankings such as the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), CUG (Complete University Guide), the British Accreditation Council (BAC) or QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) with the QS World University Ranking that are always of interest to the academic community. In addition, because they have long-standing prestigious universities as their "upper limit", these accreditation organizations also have the most stringent assessment regulations and accreditation criteria in the world.

Opportunity to study in a British standard educational environment

In Vietnam, students wishing to pursue the British education model can refer to schools accredited by QAA. QAA is an organization designated by the British Government as an agency for quality and standards accreditation of higher education. In Vietnam, QAA is a British accreditation organization approved by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Quality Management. The criteria set by these organizations all focus on academics and student-centeredness - the most important characteristics that make up the quality of British education.

For example, the QAA certification requires universities to meet 10 criteria built on the European Standards & Principles for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Or QS Stars - the star rating system of QS - also sets out a set of high-standard criteria, including: Learning Experience, Student Employment, Sustainable Development, Research and Innovation and International Relations.

Thanks to the strict “input”, universities on the list recognized by QAA or awarded by QS Stars all have guaranteed educational quality. A typical example is British University Vietnam (BUV), headquartered in Hanoi.
