Ninh Thuan armed forces join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

Identifying the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (XNT, NDN) for poor and near-poor households as not only a responsibility but also a fulfillment of the function of the "working army" of the armed forces (LLVT), in recent times, the Party Committee - Military Command (CHQS) of Ninh Thuan province has promoted propaganda and education, creating strong changes in awareness and responsibility of Party committees, commanders at all levels and officers and soldiers to promote the spirit of "mutual love and affection", joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (XNT, NDN) for the poor in the province.

In recent days, dozens of officers and soldiers of the Ninh Son District Military Command have been urgently coordinating with union members, youth and local workers to transport sand, cement, bricks, stones... to support Mr. Pi Nang Tru's family in U Village, Ma Noi Commune to build a new house supported by the 2025 XNT and NDN program. The house has an area of 90 square meters including 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 toilet; the program supports 80 million VND, the District Military Command supports 20 million VND in cash and about 12 million VND in working days. Lieutenant Colonel Pa Xay Tinh, Political Commissar of the Ninh Son District Military Command, said: Implementing the direction of the Provincial Military Command, in the past time, the District Military Command has closely coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and the Steering Committee for XNT and NDN in the district to grasp the list of poor and near-poor households to support house construction. During the construction process, the district military officers and soldiers supported the workers, helped the family dig the foundation, and transported materials, thereby reducing construction costs and speeding up the completion progress. After nearly a month of construction, the house was completed and handed over for use on April 29. With indescribable joy on the day of receiving the new house, Mr. Tru said: My family is in difficult circumstances, the house we are living in is degraded but we do not have enough funds to rebuild it. Now thanks to the Party Committee, local authorities and the District Military Command, my family has been able to build a new house. I am very happy, thank the local authorities and the district military very much!

Handing over the house to Mr. Chamaléa Giap's household in Ta Lu 2 village, Phuoc Dai commune (Bac Ai).

Colonel Nguyen Tuy, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, said: Implementing the policy of the Government and the Provincial Steering Committee on implementing the program of poverty reduction and poverty alleviation in the province, the Provincial Military Command has directed agencies and units to disseminate to 100% of officers and soldiers of the provincial military forces the directives of the superiors and launched emulation campaigns throughout the provincial military forces to respond to the emulation movement of joining hands to build new rural areas and continuing to implement the emulation movement of the Army joining hands to build new rural areas and the Provincial military forces joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind. At the same time, officers and soldiers of the provincial military forces have also contributed over 283 million VND to join hands to implement the program of poverty reduction and poverty alleviation in the province.

In addition to mobilizing officers and soldiers to participate in donating one day's salary to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial Military Command determined that the work of the People's Public Security and the People's Public Security is a job of great political significance, and at the same time the responsibility of the army towards the people, so it has led, directed and assigned tasks to the Military Commands of 7 districts and cities and the agencies of 3 departments under the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with the Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Fronts of districts and communes, using the funds of the agencies and units and mobilizing from socialization, and contributions of officers and soldiers to conduct surveys, select and deploy support to build at least 1 house for each unit. As a result, the Provincial Military Command has so far deployed support to build 13 new houses with a total cost of 644 million VND. The Provincial Military Command, from the unit's fund and the labor of officers and soldiers, supported two families in difficult circumstances, Mr. To Que Hung and Mr. Chamaléa Giap in Phuoc Dai commune (Bac Ai), each family with 80 million VND to build a house. The two houses started construction on March 4, 2025 and were handed over and put into use in mid-April 2025, bringing joy to the two families on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Ninh Thuan homeland (April 16, 1975 - April 16, 2025).

In the coming time, the Provincial Military Command will direct the provincial military agencies and units to continue to organize propaganda and mobilize cadres, soldiers and people to actively support the emulation movement of Joining Hands in Construction and Reconstruction in the province; at the same time, prepare well the forces and means to be ready to support workers and transport materials for house construction when requested by localities.
