On May 28, the Department of Transport of Dong Nai province said that it had received information about Mr. Vo Thanh Tung's resignation from the position of Director of Saigon Driving Training Center (under 3TEducation and Vocational Training Development Company Limited, Pham Van Thuan Street, Tan Tien Ward, Bien Hoa City).

The reason given was that poor health and personal family circumstances prevented Mr. Tung from continuing to run the center.

Dong Nai Province Department of Transport has requested 3T Education and Vocational Training Development Company Limited to coordinate with Saigon Driving Training Center to fully report information about Mr. Tung's resignation to the authorities.

At the same time, the Department of Transport also requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Nai province to direct the center to handle Mr. Tung's resignation application according to regulations and give opinions on training and granting of primary certificates during the time Mr. Tung requested to resign from his position.

In case this center does not have a legal representative qualified to conduct training and grant primary certificates, the Department of Transport will coordinate to direct the center to temporarily suspend operations and carry out personnel restructuring according to regulations.

It is known that Mr. Vo Thanh Tung was appointed by the People's Committee of Dong Nai province as Director of Saigon Driving Training Center on November 14, 2023 for a term of 5 years. During this time, Mr. Tung was assigned to review and consolidate the center's facilities and organizational structure.

Previously, at the end of April 2023, Mr. Ho Dinh Thai Hoa - Director of Saigon Driving Training Center was prosecuted by the Department of Police Investigation of Economic Crimes, Corruption, and Smuggling ( Ministry of Public Security ) for forgery in work.

After a long period of suspension, at the end of 2023, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision to recognize Mr. Vo Thanh Tung as the director as mentioned above. By April 2024, the above center was back in operation.
